Realistic Transfer Targets (2025/26)

Recommended Posts

In a world we offload Woltemade or Wissa in the summer who would be on your list for a striker that can press from the top with pace? Granted, there are not many about, I also do not have much knowledge from the European leagues. I guess a player of the Thiago mold would be interesting?

Solanke & Thiago from this league. Possibly Evanilson. Not sure elsewhere.

I saw a recent article saying we had been following Etta Eyong at Levante closely. Wasn't the greatest source, but he's young with room for growth, and has the physical profile you'd expect of a Howe forward and is a very hardworking pressing forward, and so it seemed to make sense.

Apparently has a 40 million Euro release clause for Prem teams too.

So important we get the keeper situation sorted like. Don't think it'd be an exaggeration to say Pope & Ramsdale have cost us about 8 points and two extra Champions League games between them this season.

Hoping we don't kick that can again. But I can't help but think a few cans will have to be kicked this summer.

Is Diogo Coata realistic?

We were linked with Verbruggen from Brighton the other day.

Could be an interesting one. I know Brighton get caught out a lot being pressed but that's more to tactics. Don't particularly want us playing that way all the time but someone just capable of helping to improve the way we play out would be nice.

Surely we’ll go back in for Trafford?

Doubt it, he will be on a canny wage now. Doubt he fits in our structure

Reportedly on significantly less than what Ramsdale’s on.

All in for Julian Alvarez - have a go nothing to lose.

Really? I mean we will never know the truth but I'd be surprised if that was the case.

Would have been on next to fuck all (in PL terms) at Burnley, so could easily have doubled or trebled going there without being on that much.

Ramsdale’s obviously been on a canny whack at Arsenal, so unlikely he took a significant drop going to Southampton or here.

Could add him to the list of players we miss out on to Chelsea.

Suspect they'll get him and we'll get Delap tbh.

Aye I've got no doubts Ramsdale is well paid. Soton loaned him to us for a reason.

Will be really interesting what we do in the summer though, we've got a lot to do either way.

Jackson. I wanted him last summer as well.

When i see him play he looks slow, and unable to get back in time and just gives up running home helping the defenders. Seen about 10 games, so from i have seen NO.
