Kieran Trippier: has a chance to play against Everton (Howe)

Recommended Posts

Chelsea v Spurs tonight

Arsenal v Liverpool off tomorrow night

It’ll be the only big football news tomorrow and I think they’ll want the photos in daylight too! No Shite Direct for all to see!

I know isolation rules are meant to be relaxed for travel end of the week but I’m a bit confused about how Trippier can do all he is doing in terms of signing today. Anyone know?

Why would he need to isolate?

He's a British national so would only need the 2 day PCR right now, wouldn't he?

yep and in theory he’d have to isolate until complete.

however as stated above he probably falls under the elite sportsman exemption

He would still need to isolate until negative PCR test but because it's for work/sport purposes he's exempt from the rules.

It's ratifying paperwork that takes the time. Once everything is done they need to email/fax the selling club and PL, as well as transfer funds.

Trippier will have done his part, he will have done interviews, taken pictures, just needs that rubber stamp. If the office at the PL or wherever signs the deal off happens to be busy, I'm sure it can cost a couple of hours.
