That's his first club goal since he was at Spurs. Didn't score any at Atletico. It was only his third PL goal in total. I thought he was known for banging in free kicks

I saw him miss a penalty for atletico in the CL in December 2020.  Thankfully they won 4-0 iirc.

Most 'free kick takers' don't score many tbf. Only really Ward Prowse taking it to a daft level.

Think he scored a few for Burnley and Bournemouth though?

Was looking at the players with the most free kick goals on the official PL site and was looking for David Beckham's name and it's not there. Is it true he scored 18 Premier League free kicks or are the stats just not available?

Honestly us signing him is beyond a fucking coup or whatever yi caal it. It is quite literally sensational.

It's as fucking sketchy as the joelinton signing tbh, gonna end up getting points deducted for fraud or summit us.

Different gravy. His professionalism permeates through our squad and sets a standard.

It's exactly the kind of player we need right now

Honestly mate, he has transformed us. Seen it vs Cambridge (of all the games). Second place isn't good enough let alone 20th. He's a born winner. He gets it. And actually I think he knas. He knas. He is almost instantly adored and he gets it.

He's brilliant, levels above what we have had there for years

Also, it may seem like a small thing but to me it says a lot but when we conceded look at his reaction compared to the others, he was the first to get the ball and get the players that were on the line moving again

That's the attitude we need and I understand why Howe won't make the change but Trippier is effectively the captain, it's so clear
