Real shame because I think he’s been the best signing of the PIF era, really set the tone. Shame how it’s ending here for him Don’t see that at all on a matchday tbh. He wouldn’t be near the squad if that was the case and he definitely wouldn’t be taking the armband off Bruno.

As he is still coaching from the sidelines and then when he is on the pitch. He carries on with his leadership role. I do think his legs have gone, mind. Which means he’s only going to be good in certain games and situations.
Dr.Spaceman
Sell and go with Kraft as backup. We could start integrating the likes of Shahar...

Despite all the bollocks spouted about his attitude I don't think there's been a single genuine bit of evidence, has there? He's clearly still a big voice in the team, even from the sidelines. I've caught him speaking to players as he's been warming up on the sideline mid-match. That doesn't scream checked out. HaydnNUFC
I'd sell tbh. Think he looks finished.

He was helping Tino out from the touchline yesterday in the first half, as he's done many times. Don't see evidence he's checked out at all.

Chris_R
I don't think he's checked out. He may want a move, he may not, but whatever he's continuing to be vocal around the pitch and try his best when brought on. He's just not as fast anymore, that's just life though. I'd reluctantly take the money, then if he wants to we can bring him back as a coach once he's done playing. He seems to have a lot to offer even when not on the pitch. Ben
Daft this, I could understand selling players for a rebuild if our season was over, we have a small squad anyway but we can't rely on our current first team for the rest of the season, we need back up. Howe is been left in the clarts here

Such a lazy comment to say someone's checked out etc. if he had, then Howe would not be selecting him in the squad etc.
duo
Staggered people would sell Trips - personally I'd be playing him over Tino - as much as I like Tino he currently adds nothing in the final 3rd.
Keggy_Keagal
If the report is right and at the end of the season Galatasaray are willing to come back in then that's the time to do the deal. We've not the biggest squad in terms of numbers or quality. The sales of Kelly and Miggy make good financial sense but it's a slight gamble with Miggy's sale. In defence Botman's only just back from what used to be career ending injury and Lascelles isn't near to full fitness yet. Also the leadership Trippier has brought off the field is going to be key in the run in, especially with our current inconsistency and with a potential cup final if we get past Arsenal I've a feeling we're going to need him. SUPERTOON
Leave it up to Trippier, he’s done enough for us to warrant making the decision. I’d personally let him go.

Smal
if he wants to go and Krafth is coming back then fine, I guess. I just don't get why we aren't signing anyone
