Always thought he was intelligent but listening to the podcast I now think it’s all a bit superficial. Every time he was pressed for more detail he struggled to give it and kept repeating himself. Well, I think by his own admission he's not exactly an intellectual. I don't think he tries to pretend to be anything he isn't. I think the thing that sets him apart is that he's actually learned from his life experiences, unlike many. But I do suspect his management style would be pretty PFM-esque......
