Kieran Trippier: to join Wolves on a free (various)

Recommended Posts

Ah sad to see him go, very likeable player and was one of the best signings under the new ownership. He was the one who laid down the platform for others to sign, great leader , great guy, shit husband 🙈🤣

wonder was It the club or trips who wanted gone? Surely livarmento is staying now , unless we have someone lined up

Absolutely vital he gets one.

Nice and deserved gesture sure. But vital? I'd rather we get points and moving up the table. That's vital!

Ideally we'd get both... 😄

Top shagger and fantastic servant to the club. Always talks to fans and is a genuine, nice bloke.

Think his arrival will always mark the change, the before and after, and it all started with him. Cheers Kieran.

Massive credit no doubt goes to Amanda Staveley, who im sure was the driving force behind our early signings and someone who sold the club to Trippier.

He was sold a dream, and whilst that dream is still in its infancy, winning the cup for Newcastle was the most special moment in my life, we never win that trophy without Trippier.

One of the best shaggers we have ever had.

Really happy he was able to get something tangible from his time here, with the trophy win last season, which is a winners medal.

He was the start of the revolution. Leader on the pitch, an exceptional player for us. Thrilled he was part of the cup winning team. The time is right. All the best Tripps.

Absolute hero. Signing him (Bruno & Burn too) turned this club around. That first six months he was here may be some of the happiest times supporting this club. The relegation battle against all odds and the new found hope that maybe, just maybe, one day this club may be fighting for Champions League spots and even win a trophy. Even then I assumed that would be after his time at the club.

It's probably the right time for him and the club to move on. Wish him all the best for the future.

Deserves at least a bigger ovation than anybody either side of Shearer that we knew was leaving

Its only that time and tide waits for no man and that the rules stopped him from being the first in a dynasty

Will go down as one of our best signing and kick started our evolution. Massive respect to his contribution and in his early days stood apart as truly a world class right back.

With him and likely Tino leaving. We really need 2 rbs this summer.

His contribution isn't measureable absolute collosus for us. The way he raised the bar was really testament to his ability.

All the best for the future, he'd still kill it in say Serie A

Key signing and the start of really feeling like a proper club again. Great player if maybe some questions over general lifestyle.

Means we have some RBs on the shortlist or close to coming hopefully.

Arguably the most important signing made during the early days of the takeover. Those first couple of seasons he was exceptional.
