STM Posted April 4 Share Posted April 4 Massive credit no doubt goes to Amanda Staveley, who im sure was the driving force behind our early signings and someone who sold the club to Trippier. He was sold a dream, and whilst that dream is still in its infancy, winning the cup for Newcastle was the most special moment in my life, we never win that trophy without Trippier. maybe_next_year Posted April 4 Share Posted April 4 Absolute hero. Signing him (Bruno & Burn too) turned this club around. That first six months he was here may be some of the happiest times supporting this club. The relegation battle against all odds and the new found hope that maybe, just maybe, one day this club may be fighting for Champions League spots and even win a trophy. Even then I assumed that would be after his time at the club. It's probably the right time for him and the club to move on. Wish him all the best for the future.
