HaydnNUFC
I'd love for us to get Djed Spence, but he'll probably have suitors that'll give him far more game time than we would given Trippier's importance.
LV
Where’s Botman on that list?
The Prophet
It's definetly just a list pulled together based on recent links, most journos are saying we don't have a shortlist of targets yet. I do think we'll go after Kelly though.
SUPERTOON
I personally wouldn’t want Calvert-Lewin. Think he is massively overrated and always injured.
Sima
Aye, no better and no less injury-prone than Wilson.
Papavasiliou
Wouldn't say no to Bartlomiej Dragowski as a backup for Dubs. Kept an eye on him since that mad Empoli v Atalanta game a few years ago where he faced 47 shots. Seems weirdly in and out the team at Fiorentina. Also he looks magnificent and I reckon he'd end up a fan favourite based solely on the beard.
The College Dropout
Dubs is not good enough and needs replacing. Those choices are uninspiring but so was Ramsdale and he’s proven to be fantastic this season.

Who says all midfielders should be mobile? I think all midfielders should be mobile and if they are not, they must be excellent on the ball. That’s one thing the great PL teams always have - extremely mobile CMs. With the exception of Carrick/Scholes. I think Rodri adapting the physicality of the league has been huge as Fernandinho’s mobility has been central to City’s success. I hate seeing us being run out of game. I think the best Newcastle teams have dynamic midfields too.

Stottie
Since August 2019, Calvert Lewin has managed only 93 more league minutes than Callum Wilson. For the same money, easily north of 50M, you probably get Raphinha, so no thanks. Ekitike for me! A double punt on Ekitete and Brereton Diaz would be cool too. Guest
Do we reckon Brereton-Diaz will make the step up or another Adam Armstrong?

Dont think Ekitike or Diaz is good enough. Nunez and Schick have both done things in CL, league and national team. Much safer options.

Kid Icarus
Someone would need to talk me into wanting Werner like. I remember putting him in my World Cup fantasy team based purely on his stats running up to it and he was dreadful. Since then I haven't seen anything better from him, only missing sitters and being perpetually offside.
The Prophet
Despite having finalised a shortlist prior to January, only Trippier was mentioned before the window opened. There will be absolutely loads of guesswork Surely the priority will have to be anyone they want to being in who is out of contract and even then we'll have to guarantee survival? Conjo
Wouldn't mind Werner here, admittedly that is not based on anything other than a feeling that he'd do well and that he is a really funny guy.
The College Dropout
Will take him on loan and pay half his wages. they’ll want massive fee and wages for a transfer. £10m loan fee, £20m option + 50% of wages I would do. Prime Craig Bellamy > Werner.

STM
I've been think about Werner for a while. I think he would thrive with Bruno behind him. He's a much better player than is suggested at Chelsea.
