The only concern is the last winger to leave Leverkusen for the PL was Leon Bailey and he hasn’t set the world on fire. He also had a great season at Leverkusen before leaving. If we did buy him for 50+ let’s hope he adjusts well to the PL.

Howay man, like that means anything. All transfers have risks but he’s clearly an outstanding talent

Bailey’s main issue has always been his injury record, he was always going to struggle to stay fit in this league.

That would be a disappointing use of £30m

Absolutely no chance whatsoever.

We already bought a 29 year old left footed centre back in Jan, in Dan Burn, who I would start over Mings anyway.

Any centre backs we bring in will be younger players, no older than 25 I imagine, as Schar is getting into his 30s as well.

Think this is wishful thinking by Villa, who are probably trying to drum up interest. Good luck getting ÂŁ30 million for that guy.

Plus he went into a coaching staff of Dean Smith then Gerard.

Tottenham have placed a £25million valuation on midfielder Harry Winks, with the England international set to leave this summer.

There is likely to be no shortage of takers for Winks; Southampton and Newcastle are understood to have early interest in the midfielder.

Winks, who has made over 200 appearances for Spurs and played in the 2019 Champions League final, became a key part of England boss Gareth Southgate’s plans during Mauricio Pochettino’s reign at Tottenham.

Newcastle are interested in  'insert name here' but they face competition from 'Insert team here'.

Remember to tweet the above out (filled in) to Twitter at least 3 times a day.

Son was also at Leverkusen.

Aye he looks the business no doubt about it. Just always think the bundesliga is a tricky league to really judge how a player will adapt.

£25m for Harry Winks - worlds gone mad

I despair at any club that buys this gimp

There were a lot of strong rumours in Jan that he was a priority target for Howe, and that Howe liked him a lot.

Only reason it supposedly didn't happen in the end is that when Conte first came in, he was using him at Spurs initially.

Think Winks has lost his way at Spurs, but he's got ability and had some really good moments under Pochettino.

You could say the same about Portugal, Scotland, Netherland, Italy, France also

Winks, Mings & DCL combined would be north of ÂŁ100m and our squad would genuinely not be that much better off. Shows the importance of a good window.

Yes fucking please. Bye bye St Max though.

Diaby is just as frustrating as St. Max but with arguably less raw ability (age is on his side though). Good player but we shouldn’t be spending over 30m for him imo.

Diaby is quite possible, we are obviously looking at a pacey, tricky, skilled winger like ASM for the right. We were definitely looking at Dembele in January and for the summer.  I say conflicting reports with Dembele today too with him definitely leaving Barca but then Le Parisien denying he will come to PSG this summer.
