What has been made up?

The reports are placed to generate attention for certain players by agents primarily and some clubs. They do this to create interest and they get paid to do it - shills

If anything it's proof we will spend serious money, we will be ok and keeping Isak is key as long as we can strengthen other parts of team/ squad.

Just hope our 3rd striker choice is mint as well, whoever the fuck that could be. It's DCL isn't it 😄

If this saga has taught us anything, it's that there is no journalist out there who really knows what's going on.

That Florian Plattenburg gimp who works for Sky has tangled himself in knots contradicting himself about this saga.

Ornstein & Romano have exposed themselves as shills, doing the dirty work of the cartel clubs, in particular Romano.

Companies like BBC & TalkSport will aggregate it all and churn out some absolute nothing burger of an article so they're not seen to be missing out.

For all the shit we give Edwards, Hope and Ryder for knowing fuck all (and rightly so!), their track record in this window isn't much worse than the so called reliable sources

My nana’s best pal Mabel (RIP) who gossiped shite about everyone in the village, stank of piss and told everyone that my nana and her best friend Jim were doing the nasty when they were just having sleepovers would be considered a more trustworthy sauce than the modern day football journo

They report on transfers.  They need contacts such as agents or clubs..  I don't see where they have made up news - they have reported what's going on in a developing story.

..We just don't like it.

Now the Hugo hook is firmly embedded in Liverpool's gob can we not now pivot to Morgan Gibbs White - do our NFFC mates a solid pay a bit more and fuck over the mighty Spurs in the process - two of the snowflake six shafted in one glorious move - perhaps IMHO

Why don't we just pay them more?

If you are a "journalist" and an agent contacts you to say "club a are after my player" do you get straight on to twitter or say "prove it" ? Do you say "has club a been in touch with club b or am I being used" ?

Recall Ornstein saying he needs multiple sources to confirm the story before he runs with it.

Do you have proof to suggest otherwise?

Really do think we're being used in all of this to force Liverpools hand. I don't like any of it.

Well that was a waste of time watching - they've not a clue what's going on.  Honestly don't bother.

He can say that. Doesn’t mean that it’s accurate. Someone is likely full of shit, since there are contradictory reports out there.

In the words of Mandy Rice Davies "well he would say that wouldn't he".

Also from his piece "you get the feeling", not " i have proof" and none of that answer the last question "am I being used "

Suit yourself.

He's reporting news that people here don't like - so it's getting people's backs up.

No. It’s not reporting. It started as reports and then they’ve been throwing  in wild speculation based on getting a feeling. It reeks of manufacturing drama like a reality show.

Indeed. I ask, how many summers of Ekitike must we endure?
