No. It’s not reporting. It started as reports and then they’ve been throwing  in wild speculation based on getting a feeling. It reeks of manufacturing drama like a reality show.

I don't get why people are giving Ornstein a hard time. Check out his tweet about Liverpool's situation, he got tons of questions. He's on a podcast, answers a question, and shares his thoughts. Content creators grab the stuff their fans like and ignore the rest, then spread it. It's not Ornstein's fault. Social media isn't really the place for a fair discussion, and Liverpool fans have way more people, both making content and just following along. So we won't win there.

"I understand that Ekitiké could now move in a deal north of €100m. This is a dream scenario for the Bundesliga club. There is no exit clause, a long-term contract, and two clubs with the financial means to spend on the player."

Yikes, only one winner here and it's Frankfurt.

More than €100m?

He’s all yours, Scousers.

If this saga has taught us anything, it's that there is no journalist out there who really knows what's going on.

That Florian Plattenburg gimp who works for Sky has tangled himself in knots contradicting himself about this saga.

Ornstein & Romano have exposed themselves as shills, doing the dirty work of the cartel clubs, in particular Romano.

Companies like BBC & TalkSport will aggregate it all and churn out some absolute nothing burger of an article so they're not seen to be missing out.

For all the shit we give Edwards, Hope and Ryder for knowing fuck all (and rightly so!), their track record in this window isn't much worse than the so called reliable sources

And the penny finally drops…

We lost out on delap, then lost out on JP, could possibly miss out on Ekitike,  what's Sesko upto? We could pivot to him, we did look at him before didn't we? @KaKa

Cos 100m euros is a bit much i would think.

But if two teams meet that ?

Not that we would at that price mind.

Then we both have permission to speak with him. Same as all the clubs with Delap

It is starting to reek of Frankfurt / Agents playing games to up the price / terms

It reeks of nowt because none of us know what’s going on. We’re all be led a merry dance by the journalists who absolutely thrive on the transfer window.

Regurgitated headlines pushed out and worded differently to us click click clicking. We’ve had one journalist tell us the deal has faded and in the space of 12 hours say it’s at an advanced stage.

Taking us all for absolute mugs and there’s not a single thing we can do about it because we lap it the fuck up.

That Ornstein tweet yet again showing how he has gotten worse over the last year or so. Not a chance he puts that tweet out 18 months ago.

Unfortunately, the fella started to believe his own hype as some sort of transfer news guru or something. Either that or he's on somebody's payroll.
