Would be great linking the midfield and attack as we don’t have a player who does this currently. Again though, we need a defensive midfielder to link with him as our current options are awful.

Would be class but getting bored of reading the 'working on a deal for' line being touted by every journo going. I get it, they have to do their job but it feels like every deal has a running commentary to it.

Clubs don't want to reduce their numbers due to covid though. I'm certain we probably asked the question.

And Man United would almost certainly not have agreed to do a deal in the first week of Jan. Why do people still not get this.

I just can't see any premier league club, other than maybe Man City, agreeing to a loan to us. They might string us along making us waste time, but they will want us to be relegated  they're not going to help us out of this predicament in any way.

Could work in our favour if he wants the move, just offer them a huge loan fee and they will accept,  Man U have no reason to let him go to West Ham or Spurs as they wont want to help a rival for the top 6.
