Jordan
Would be great linking the midfield and attack as we don’t have a player who does this currently. Again though, we need a defensive midfielder to link with him as our current options are awful.
r0cafella
I think it goes without saying this would be a cracking bit of business.
xLiaaamx
I have massive reservations. Joe Willock had a great purple patch on loan. Now he can't kick a ball.
LRD
Would be great but with his contract expiring in summer, surely a sale would make better sense for Man Utd. Or maybe a reasonable loan fee...
Lush Vlad
Why would they let him go on loan? Just to save on the wages for the last part of his deal? Out of contract in the summer, isn’t he?
St1pe
Man U reluctant to sell and Lingard preferring a move back to London? Would be surprised if this came off.

r0cafella
Looks like he’s not going to extend and wants to leave in summer so a loan is an awkward compromise for all parties For Lingard it would be a great move, he gets to test drive us before committing. The Prophet
You'd imagine COVID will probably be holding up the loan market for the time being. Well, unless you're Arsenal.
Ed210
Suppose if he comes and plays out of his skin, stops relegation etc, etc it will do his career the world of good. personally I’m not fussed, he isn’t great
Dandy Man
If we could get someone in till end of season who can do what Willock did at end of last season then that would be great, don't particularly care what happens after that tbh
LRD
Would be a massive improvement over Fraser.
wormy
Get it done. I'd be hesitant over a permanent move but loan to the end of the season to see if he comes even close to replicating his West Ham form is fine by me.
Chapo
This is the kinda deal that should’ve been done in the first week in Jan.
hakka
He's quality we desperately need. Still need a decent centre mid to do the less attacking work, but be great to have Lingard here.
JP
Would be class but getting bored of reading the 'working on a deal for' line being touted by every journo going. I get it, they have to do their job but it feels like every deal has a running commentary to it.

Clubs don't want to reduce their numbers due to covid though. I'm certain we probably asked the question.
Mahoneys Tache
A season saving purple patch would be the very thing.
gdm
Really dislike him but if he comes and helps keep us up I’ll love him

And Man United would almost certainly not have agreed to do a deal in the first week of Jan. Why do people still not get this.
Jackie Broon
I just can't see any premier league club, other than maybe Man City, agreeing to a loan to us. They might string us along making us waste time, but they will want us to be relegated they're not going to help us out of this predicament in any way. TRon
Doesn't sound like it's going to happen just on the basis of that tweet. Man U are reluctant to let him go? I think they'll let him go, just to some other club, not NUFC.
Geogaddi
Could work in our favour if he wants the move, just offer them a huge loan fee and they will accept, Man U have no reason to let him go to West Ham or Spurs as they wont want to help a rival for the top 6.
