Is his lack of mobility really an issue at CM? We'd have plenty of legs in and around him, the squad is full of good athletes.

For me, you want him pressing high because he's really good at nicking the ball, and you want him handling things in the final third as much as possible because he's got genuine vision, touch, and control in there.

Agreed, although I think he's gotten weaker at it over the past couple of years. Think that's just from lack of usage due to where he's been positioned though... I'm confident it would come back with a bit of time and encouragement.

I think he's played fairly fatigued for a long time now which isn't helping his mobility, speed and athleticism.

I remember when people were in denial about his lack of athleticism [emoji38] he's a brilliant player but that much was obvious from the compilations.

If only we had another midfielder to share the load.

I take back what I said about him not being physically up to the RCM position, he might not be able to do it for 90 mins every game but you can see the upside to it.

thought it was his better games of the season. Obviously playing a different role but played some really dangerous and creative passes that we’ve been missing. Assist for Isak is probably a pass that nobody else in our squad can make other than Isak himself.

Been dying to see him in positions to thread balls through to Isak, and finally we had that today from the outset.

Will become a lethal weapon with more game time with him in that position.

Love seeing him higher up the pitch.

Not a bad free kick for our equaliser at the end too.

He will be even more dangerous with a top RW too, just hope we get one in January

I think we take it for granted how good he is. He loves being on the ball and dictating play and he can be very good at it but he has such a sixth sense for the game in general that I think he's much better being on the ball less but being further forward. 2 assists tonight.
