We’re not that club anymore.
gbandit Posted Sunday at 17:34 Share Posted Sunday at 17:34 Can someone explain how he’s so good at football yet can’t kick a football properly with power? Find it so odd how he can only scoop shots with spin, digging them out with barely any pace on them. Does he ever try to strike the ball through his laces? Kanj Posted Sunday at 17:42 Share Posted Sunday at 17:42 His shooting technique is absolutely bonkers but I love him infinitely.

Of course, all the papers running with the 'Bruno speaks to Pep' line.

It was like he had to put every last ounce of effort in his body into just getting the ball near the penalty spot
KaKa
Apparently Al-Hilal want him if they aren't able to land the other Bruno from Man United.
andycap
He's been pretty poor since the cup final but I'd still keep hold of him.
STM
Hes our captain. He's going nowhere. Certainly not to the Saudi league.
TBG
Difficult one. On one hand you'd be selling arguably one of our greatest players and a massive influence on the curent team. On the other hand it would (for now) quench the forums thirst for a Saudi club buying one of our players.

et tu brute
In his recent interview he said he was very happy here, but I did find it a bit of a statement that he mentioned about any possible deal being good for the club. I'm still convinced that the club were expecting Bruno's release clause to be activated last summer and when it was not, that is when we saw the panic moves started to happen. For him he is quite happy to stay and is not looking to move. The club though may well decide different if the they receive a big offer nd by what he said in his interview, Bruno accepts this outcome if it does venture forward. That's why getting champions league is key to the strategy of the transfer windows. I'm not saying he will leave, just a few thoughts on what may happen. JigsawGoesToPieces
On the other hand he is 28 this year, and if were going to get mega bucks for him, he would need to be sold sooner rather than later, bit like when Villa sold Grealish. Selling Bruno could fund 3 new purples and id rather Isak and Tonali were kept at all costs

Reaches territory of giving him £250k a week mark for another 5 years, where there’s a near certainty he will drop off by end of that contract. Or you take peak value, accept you got the best out of him, he’s a hero, and that’s the transfer money that help reshapes a midfield that also has an aging Joelinton. Yorkie
We invited megabucks offers this time last year and there were no takers (it was telling that arguably our most recognisable player was nowhere near any of the Adidas marketing). I think if it was ever gonna happen it was then.

One more year and in the CL again, will do. Guy's a ****ing legend. Let's have another go. See what bites.

So true, there’s a inexplicable need from some of our fanbase to sell our best players to buy worse ones, just to say we’re doing ‘bits’ in the transfer market.
