He's allowed to have an off day. Looked our sharpest player in preseason so was bit surprising he was the one who looked most off it today but you never know could be under the weather or anything. 

 

Hopefully he's right up for it next week.

In fairness to @Rod on this occasion he’s right to say Bruno had a very below par game to the eye. Looked unfit and blowing after 30mins and never imposed himself at any stage. For balance I did wonder if he had been given strict tactical instructions as in fairness Villa never pulled our midfield around like they have in the past so maybe it was something subtle he was doing. Also spotted this stat which surprised me also…

Impressive managing to look unfit while simultaneously running more than anyone else on the pitch.

But it can’t be ‘in fairness to Rod’. Because the bloke is unhinged and proper imbalanced when it comes to his hate for Bruno. 
 

Unless he is a 7/10 as a minimum. Old Rodders is in here telling us how shit he is and going on like he is some sort of prophet. Telling us how Bruno is and always will be shite. 
 

It is mind numbingly boring and pathetic to the extreme. One of the best, most charismatic, talented and likeable players in the last 20-30 years. Is getting stick from some Wineo?! Owing to the fact he is a bit immobile and has set the bar so high with his performances. That an average game looks like a 4/10.

Yep this is it. Captain. The real deal. Someone who "gets it" and always gives everything for the club. He is absolutely brilliant player and a unique character. Who gives a flying **** for few stray passes here and there? No one can ever tell me that he is not a world class package.
