Kanj
Genuinely will be my all time fav when said and done. I love him. He is perfect for us and he’s a world class midfielder. He was the best player on the pitch tonight.
Nine
He is the personality that pushes this team forward especially when times are tough, wouldn’t trade that for anything
LaurentRobert
To think people doubted giving him the armband! Felt like he singlehandedly brought us back from the dead. This man is a warrior. On a broader note, I feel like South American footballers, many of whom have a far less pampered pathway into professional football than the modern European footballer, have a street footballer fighting spirit that you simply can't teach in a sterile conveyor belt football academy setting Bruno G epitomised that spirit last night, what a fucking legend! Mountain
Warrior, the beating heart of the entire team, a noble knight, our lion. Considering he's not that tall and has a slight build too, his bravery, skill, strength and sheer will is unfathomable.

nufcjb
Genuinely loves us, this guy. Said it earlier somewhere, the day he has to leave us for whatever reason, he'll be crying his heart and eyes out, the same goes to the whole city. Proper legend. pubteam
If he can play every game like that, his footballing IQ is next level the way he turns, runs with the ball and drives out ready to release our wingers. So many of our goals start with his quick thinking. It’s like he knows the position of every player on the pitch at all times.
Sibierski
Surround him with quality. Last night bumped up his contract strength. Next summer is cross roads and I’ve always said it should be cashing in time to be considered. But the leadership he showed last night, priceless. That’s someone I want as captain for next 4 seasons so give him a new deal.
Sibierski
The cashing in was also on basis that Isak was here long time, but he looks like the cashing in player which hopefully is next summer.
huss9
was dragging himself round the pitch towards the end. clealry limping. days like this means he gets less grief when he's below par @Rod. your criticism of him goes way overboard.
NEEJ
Mad to think he's now scored as many goals as Robert did for us (and Big Joe!).
Barnes23
Last summer, with debates cropping up from time to time on here re: whether selling Bruno or Isak was preferable if one had to go as an FFP necessity, feels like a long time ago. On an emotional and personal level I think it was always very clear which player of the two was the most likely to stick around for the long-term, who was fully bought in and fully invested. He's an incredible player but equally importantly an incredible personality. A perfect fit for this club. Very grateful to have him as the heartbeat of our team. Chicken Dancer
Hope he retires here tbh. Encapsulates what playing for Newcastle is all about and has really bought into the city. His kids were born here and he seems to absolutely love it. Probably my favourite player for a long, long time. The heart of a lion and very talented to boot. Love him.
