He's got a really weird technique when kicking the ball with any sort of power/distance. Almost as if he's just swinging his leg at it.

Must work though, thought it was a decent enough cameo

Very good, was picking the ball up and always looking for the slide rule pass into the gaps, but we didn'r really have the runners. Wilson is going to love him.

Decent. Put himself about too which was nice to see when Brentford started getting a bit tasty.

Had Chris Wood running on the end of a few defence splitting balls so no luck there obviously

One shot with nice intent but poor execution.

Couple of nice balls forward which would have probably led to us being 1 on 1 with better forwards than Wood and Fraser (although they both played well today otherwise, the latter especially). As a team we took our foot off the gas in the second though.

The forwards haven't caught up with his game-reading brilliance so far, seemingly. Twice today our players were caught short when he played his defence-splitters. Remember one of them being Joelinton, who still did well to claw back possession.

Don’t think you can have him and Shelvey in there mind, they seemed to want to be in the same place. He will eventually replace Shelvey in that role and will be outstanding.

Can see his through balls being a delight on the counter with ASM running on.

Not sure how he and Shelvey will work together based on today, though.

Was thinking that. Bruno definitely wanted to sit back to offer an option and dictate play.

That's what I meant re: the above. They were essentially stood slap bang next to one another a couple of times. Feels like Shelvey's due an injury soon enough so hopefully he'll slot in and make the place his own.

Love how Bruno demands the ball and directs players ahead of him. I also love how if he can he will immediately slip a ball forward with laser precision to create chances. Going to be some player for us.

It's what good players do. We haven't seen that here in years.

Yeah that was my take away from this as well. They both seem to operate in the same area of the pitch. Those who think he's going to replace Willock are way off the mark based on that 30 mins.
