Thought he and Hall were easily the best of our bunch in terms of trying to take responsibility on the pitch, they're players who evidently have a lot of self-belief to get on the ball regardless. Thiaw was also good, to be fair to him.

 

It did seem like many were scared to do anything. It's like Bruno said, pretty much nothing happened  it was a bit bizarre, really.

I don’t think he should call them out on being idle twats, I think he should have avoided mentioning the effort point at all. He’s normally very meticulous with his words, so I felt it was poor to raise their “effort” in a positive sense.

The fact that so many simply went through the motions and phoned it in is starting to speak volumes about the characters that are currently wearing the shirt. Have little issue with Bruno performance, as he tried to keep the ball first half. Still contributed to the poor display, but can at least feel after the game “what the fuck is the point” when you’ve got others who can’t trap a bag of sand or twat it long every time someone presses.
