He was superb when he came on, this is exactly why it’s important for us to rest him at times so he looks fresher as he did yesterday

PauloGeordio
“I’m very unhappy. We cannot concede a bicycle goal in the last minute in our box. We lost two important points tonight at home. I feel like we’ve lost the game. “My goal was a great moment. But I would swap that goal - I would change everything for the three points tonight. “Everyone had to defend like their lives depend upon it. I feel sad. I feel unhappy for the fans. It’s not the way I want us to play. Everyone is disappointed in there.” Edited December 4, 2025 by PauloGeordio
The College Dropout
I’m not confident that we get to the top. So I’m really appreciating what Bruno G is doing for us. We’ve never had a midfielder so good. We may never see a CM so good again. Again he was Stevie G-esque. Took the game by the scruff. Ran with it. Created. And slapped one into the corner. I love this guy.
Lush Vlad
I do think that because he is slow, because he tries some high risk stuff or maybe the low percentage attacking passes. He gets underrated a bit or not really appreciated enough. He basically plays every minute he can for club and country. He is hardly ever injured. He covers every blade of grass when he is on the pitch, no matter how slowly and he is our talisman. He is a passion merchant with all the ability in the world to back it up. He looks like he should be a skillful luxury player. Yet he plays with as much fire and passion as prime Tiote, Batty or a local lad like Big Dan Burn. He just fully gets it and his workrate is unmatched. I think he is quite unique as a midfielder and if he were to be missing for a long spell or God forbid, he moved onto another club. We'd soon realise how much we miss him.
kingxlnc
The highest quality all-round player we've had in terms of skills, leadership, drive, passion, love for the club, desire to win, ambition etc. Total package. Speed is the only thing anyone can say against him. If he had that as well he would be at Real Madrid. He wouldn't look out of place at one of those superclubs. You don’t sell Bruno. Players like him very, very rarely come along.

Stevie G himself couldn’t even Stevie G once he lost the pace (tbf he also lost the stamina). Bruno has fantastic ability but he’s also willing himself to greatness. The constant running that looks absolutely painful, game in game out. No injuries. The chemistry in his brain keeps his legs and heart and body going. How does he cope with all the intensity? I love Big Joe. But he can’t cope. Maybe the lack of fast twitch fibres in his body is a net positive for endurance and injury prevention. A muscular and explosive lad like Joelinton or back in the day Michael Essien couldn’t sustain that over the years at this intensity.

Superior Acuña
Already got as many league goals as last season [5]. Only scored more in 23/24 [7].
Gallowgate Toon
Really enjoying his return to central, tbh. He pulls strings from there so well.
Magpie Mover
By far our best player, he must find it very frustrating playing with some of our lot.
The Butcher
One thing is how good he is on the ball, but fuck me, the work off the ball he puts in, man. Tracking runs, covering space. Always available for the ball. Such a fantastic player and captain. Edited December 6, 2025 by The Butcher

Heron
I'll be honest I had a spell questioning his leadership and mobility but have always remained positive cause what I see is an absolute gem by ways of influence at the club. However, in this last week it has become evident - he makes us tick. His personality, his influence his ability - we need someone to protect that next week. We win the fight we win the game comfortably. We are more talented than them. Bruno is a king. An absolute king. Kid Icarus
As obviously class as he is I still think he's really underrated and appreciated by our fanbase. He feels like he'll be one of those players that we fully appreciate after he's retired.

NWMag
Scares me that we only have a few more seasons left until he’s into his 30’s; when the time comes it’s going to be a tough job to replace him.
