ramirez Posted yesterday at 18:19 Share Posted yesterday at 18:19 Even some of the decent mackems I know had ftm on their recent flags for Wembley. Certainly don’t see any moral high ground for them after they smashed up/failed to stop all the race rioting in their city last summer.

Fighting back against the Geordiefication of the North East, one forced away fixture at a time. "Women World Cup Rugby hosts, you'll never sing that!" Sid
Just noticed, having had the most recent Sam Fender sent to the online shame dungeon and locked due to threatening PMs, they have resurrected an older Sam Fender thread from 2024.

1964
What's the betting that if we lose the opener at 12.30, they will publish a league table showing them above us on gd before their 3 o'clock ko? Nailed on

mattypnufc
I think they underestimate just how decent the 'established' PL teams now are. Standard living under a rock. It's not like it used to be lads.
Chicken Dancer
So as of right now, they are the worst team in the league, yes? Using the only metric we can - which is points tally - coupled with the fact they've lost a player that started most weeks for them. West Ham at home is as kind as it probably could have been, but I wouldn't be shocked if West Ham turned up and won at a canter. The gulf is huge, they will understand a lot more about the time the clocks go back.
The Prophet
They do have a cushy start, need to get points on the board.

madras
The current record for earliest relegation from the Premier is 7 games remaining. If we relegate them they'll equal that (obviously games get postponed and played later but as things stand it's game week 31).

Kid Icarus
They couldn't really ask for an easier opening 3 matches than that. At home to the club with some of the poorest form at the end of last season Away to the club they've just been promoted with At home to the club that outside of the promoted teams is probably most in danger of dropping

True, but fortunately for them we'll be on our annual cup final trip to Wembley that weekend 😀
midds
Definite change in attitude now the fixtures are out. For the last few weeks they've been bullish as fuck but seeing them absorb the list of fixtures they've got to play has definitely knocked them back. They're (technically) the poorest team in the division so every single game looks tough as fuck and reality has bitten hard today. Few of them moaning about their December fixtures as they, apparently, have to play loads of teams in the same division as they're now in and it's "a fucking joke". This is what they cheered and wanted in May and now they've actually got it they don't fucking like any part of it. They're going to get absolutely fucking battered
Infinitely Content
They seem to be heaping an awful lot of unnecessary pressure on themselves to win those opening games. Total meltdown incoming if they fail to win any of them.
