Think that just about kills off any automatic spot for them. Hopefully Burnley’s defensive record + late Shelvey screamer will be enough to see them off in the playoffs too.

The universe has restored some balance tonight after Meslier threw one in for them at the death in the reverse fixture.

Isidor is good, I'm sure a PL team will pinch him when these trogs bottle promotion.

Thought they played well. Did the perfect job until the subs both ways, then thry fell off and Leeds stepped up.

Was a decent game of football. You can see 2 sides finding their groove at the right time, with Leeds having the edge in quality.

Said from the start of the season it'll be Leeds, sheff utd and Burnley. Nothings changed. In fact sheff utd are the team which cracks, so happy they are in 2nd.

If there’s any fairness in the world we’ll win the cup at “Wembo” and they’ll lose the play off final there.

To Burnley. On penalties. After Trafford saves 5 out of 5.

Be class that. I very vaguely remember watching the game with my Sunderland mate and his da when they lost to Charlton in the play off final on pens. Bet that was sweet.

I’m not that arsed if they do come up.

We are doing different things to them, and to be honest I looked at both of those teams last night and saw nothing that would keep either team up. The match was so slow, and every team will just be able to take them both apart.

Wonder if they'd still give PSG a game with Trai Hume, Dan Neil and O'Nien playing.

They'll get some decent offers for Isidor, Jobe, Rigg and Cirkin when they eventually have to sell though.

From what I've seen of them it's hard to understand why promotion is even a possibility. It can only be because the Championship is particularly bad this season.

The seasons we went down and won it we destroyed team after team usually by convincing margins. I have yet to see them really dominate a game (admittedly this is quite limited Sky viewing), they don't seem to create much and have little threat up front or in midfield. Leeds, who will probably struggle in the PL totally dominated them, it was so one sided.
