What is the shape of our front six?

Longstaff   Anderson
          Miggy

Murphy       Fraser
         Wood

I think its this? Missed the 1st half. Seems quite fluid watching it, though. Which has had its positives and negatives.

Longstaff is holding and Almiron and Anderson are pushing forward as number 8s.

Terrible atmosphere. Like the Etihad. Looks like it’s full of day trippers and glory hunters already.

Was thinking the same tbh. Benfica was so much better.

Love how Anderson drifts so comfortably all across the line, appearing anywhere and looking great on the ball

Anderson and Miggy have been roaming into space, always looking for that pocket and running into either channel to supply an option.

He offers more than Fraser and Murphy

He's played more through the middle and looks good in there. So not really competing with those two as he hasn't been used out wide so far under Howe.

In others words.... like a friendly except a far bigger gate than most.

Absolutely incredible what Howe is doing to this side.

Absolutely certain he's the real deal and belongs at the top.

Yep. Loving how we are playing with the same shape and tempo regardless of the line up.
