I think the subs we brought on were absolutely indicative of this. Desperate for strength in depth. And it's coming.

Subs were spot on, mind. Howe knew Arsenal would have to go for it but we just put another round in the chamber by putting two pairs of fresh legs on either wing. Totally maintained the pressure.

Arsenal TV is more balanced than this. The game has been finished half an hour and the adverts were on longer than they have mentioned us.

Now they are interviewing Xhaka

think thats more a symptom of long term poor thinking than anything. Maitland Niles probably was daft always looked decent, chambers never convinced me. PEA should never have been given ludicrous contract in a panic and the £70m on pepe could have been spent better on several players.

They are not a top 4 team, they are an exciting young team that when everything goes well and have full strength can beat anyone, but mostly they are fairly average. They have a mentality problem shown from recent implosions. They probably don't deserve quite the slagging off they are receiving, champions league would be a silly over performance.

They have some really good players, particularly young ones. They need to build the squad depth, and rather than dwell on this go and win the europa league

Starting to doubt we actually played tonight going off this sky coverage. Think Arsenal just played themselves and lost.

To be fair Arsenal have just fucked themselves for the foreseeable.

You know what it is with Arsenal tonight, they thought that they could just turn up and they would win.

At no point were they expecting a fight, they thought as we have nothing to play for then we would lie down for them, and if we didn’t, the referee would give them the usual dodgy decision they get against us.

Their players and manager are shocked that we have fought them tonight and not just said ‘Here is your route to the top 4’.

Can't even begin to imagine how awesome this must be for Dan Burn, to end up coming back the way he did and being part of this turn around as a local himself. Stuff of dreams.

i know but when analysing why arsenal lost a bit of it has to be maybe they came across a really good team who played really well. Part of this era when everyone gets so angry at their own team feels to me that a lot of fans forget there is another team on the pitch all together
