If you’re including English

then Shearer and Owen by far

I think you have to include Keegan in there if you're including English

I think I've said this before but I don't think many other clubs in Britain would be able to say they've had so many excellent footballers as managers as us:

Keegan, Ardilles, Dalglish, Charlton, Shearer, Gullit, Souness and even Bruce

Reckon we'd give Ajax and Barcelona a good 6 a side game with that squad of former managers

OTD Shearer scored off the bench v West Brom away. Did he do it any other times/ when?

edit: appears was only time. nufc.com refer to it as the first time, and can't find another game he did after in that (his final) season

Absolutely mental he was here 10 years and only made 9 appearances as a sub! 😂

Did they not mean it was his first goal at the Hawthornes?

Not the best summary of Shearers time as manager there, timelines all wrong.

also in a piece on legends becoming managers completely neglecting Keegan

I don't mind Charlotte but good lord that is some abysmal knowledge. Wonder if she still reckons Dubravka is the club's greatest ever signing.

Everyone knows thats the sexy Swiss CB.

She's got a heed full of broken biscuits that lass. Anyone who gets national press coverage and represents our fan base should at least know their onions factually, and preferably not have utterly mental shit opinions like hers either.

Tory Scabbers is nearly as bad but at least seems to have the ability to remember factual information.

Was just looking at our fixtures, and by the time we play Liverpool, we'll be a third of the way through the season, and we'll have played arguably the 4 hardest home games of the season already in Man City, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool. It means that in the second half of the season we'll play 7 of 10 games against current bottom half opposition, and two of the other 3 are against Bournemouth and Forest, who could have potentially dropped of by that point.

It does mean that we'll have much harder away games, but it should hopefully mean that if we do lose any momentum in them away games, it won't last too long as we'll have a favorable home fixture coming up not too long after.

Very good to see the clock (near advertising boards!) in the Leazes / Milburn corner showing the time after 45 mins and 90 mins rather than just stopping meaning you can see exactly how much time had been added – it ramped up the boos for the ref when he went over what was signalled after 90 mins!
