I really don't imagine that whoever approached him to do the video, will be impressed one bit by his "I don't like it any more than you do".

As opposed to us who are largely giving them money and by extension their state. I get that the distinction is that we're not overtly promoting Saudi while supporting Newcastle, I just don't think that distinction is big enough for anyone to be getting on their high horse about Adam P.

 

Based on what happened when the takeover happened, I'd hazard a guess that the hard line people claim they have would soften significantly if it meant improving their material interests.

I don't mind him tbh. He's a Newcastle fanatic and enjoys what he's doing. Though not sure if he'll remain impartial now.

Whoever is sponsoring his trips to Saudi needs to withdraw financial support. That way he can stay home and have a clear conscience, or alternatively he can pay his own way and be as critical as he wishes.

Haven’t seen this mentioned, but surely part of the role of being a ‘voice of the supporters’ is to maintain an independent stance from the club - which allows you to criticise when you think the owners etc are out of order.

 

Getting paid to shill for them spits in the face of the fanzine ethic, and means everything that they utter is tainted.
