sushimonster85
Felix would destroy our wage structure. If we're going to do that it's not going to be on a player who doesn't fit our system.

buzza
I think we will go for something like this: phillips (cm) 35m Tierney (lb) 25m Maddison (cam) 45m Diaby/other (rm) 50m

SteV
As has been said, Felix’s wages would put him outside of what’s realistic for us at the minute. Pretty mad when you consider what that loan cost Chelsea for pretty much zero return or team improvement (even if I thought that individually Felix looked good the times I watched them). They’ve just written off somewhere in the region of £15m like it was nothing.

Maybe Manquillo now that Kraft is practically fit and we signed Ashby. If we get a first team LB then possibly a loan for Lewis. The GK positions depend on Dubravka. If he gives the nod he’ll stay for the season then it’s just a case of releasing Karius and letting Darlow join Hull. Gillespie will happily sit as 3rd choice. However if Dubravka wants out I wouldn’t rule out a move for Forster for a year. As for first team additions I think we will get two in £40-65m bracket. Don’t think there will be a 3rd unless it’s around £20-30m at a push. Have a funny feeling they’ll keep some of the budget for January. I don't think we'll keep Gillespie as third choice. Howe doesn't trust him enough to be that high in the pecking order IMO. He's out of contract this summer + he is not club HG.

TheInfiniteOdyssey
Don’t really get either of those moves for Spurs. They should be focused on finalising a deal for Raya and then sorting out that woeful defense.

toontownman
Hoping for 5 first team additions. As already mentioned in the press, a RCB, LB, DM another attacking wide/central mid and a versatile forward. Expect we will get 3 or maybe 4. I do expect an influx in the youth/reserves on top of that. That said this will be the 3rd if not 4th window I expected that. They are keeping it steady. Good way to seperate the genuine players from the wasters tbh, if they choose them over us, then that's where they should be. But let's not kid ourselves, Spurs have been part of the big six for a lot longer than us in recent years, in some players minds they will still be seen as a big club. You would think British players especially would prefer Newcastle now though.
SteV
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves here. Spurs have been a shambles towards the back end of the season, but until the point Conte decided to tell everyone they were shit, they were bang in with a shout of Top 4. Obviously until they get the managerial situation sorted there’s a big question mark against them, but a good appointment, a couple of good signings, and it’s not that difficult to imagine they’d be back in the mix. We’ve certainly stolen a march on them in some aspects this season, but it’s hardly like we’ve streaked away from them and can’t be caught in the foreseeable.
