Euan Stephenson
Hi, I am conducting research for my Masters degree at Leeds Beckett University looking at the positive impact the new ownership has had on NUFC attendances and the reasons why there is now a high demand for tickets. This is to compare it against Mike Ashley's ownership to showcase the impact how positive shareholder relationships in the eyes of fans regarding communication, transparency and investment can create positive fan consumption of games. I am a fellow season ticket holder myself so no questions are aimed regarding sports washing and would appreciate all response! please click the link below if you are interested, should take no longer than 10 minutes. Cheers Euan https://leedsbeckettsport.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_4YnjmC72nzw3o22

Exiled in Texas
At Texas A&M University, where my daughter went, they started a 5K fun run inside the football stadium - Called "Run the Ramps". You run a 5K through the concourse levels as well as up/down the access ramps between levels. It wouldn't be possible for SJP as the stadium wasn't built to have continuouos access between stands, but its a really fun event.

Yorkie
NWOAT post cos I wasn't sure where to put it but, fuck, for all the talk about how much we may or may not progress in the league - I feel like we've barely talked about the cups. Imagine a fucking proper cup run. Providing we're miles away from relegation and not likely to challenge for 4th, we could really do something in one of the cups. It's got to be a priority this season. Imagine Joelinton ramming in a winner at Wembley. I think I'd physically burst.

The research aims to provide a new insight into sports economics, regarding factors that impact a fans attendance at live matches. Previous data suggests that fans are only impacted to attend football fixtures based on price of tickets, match/ league outcomes and whether family/friends attend etc. No previous research looks at the impact a sports fans relationship with a teams owner has on the fans attendance which I am investigating with this questionnaire. We ranked 87 out of 92 in regard to the fan engagement index in 2021 under mike Ashley, with our average attendances (excluding covid) 7% below the average premier league attendance. So I am looking for correlations to attendance and ownership and what part of the ownership impacts attendance as well refuting other literature given the range of questions involved. Who runs the index? The PL? I'd have thought sentiment might be lower during that season, but I'm not sure I understand the data behind the ranking. Mate, I wish I could share some of the work I did with Chelsea around fan engagement, the app we built and let you compare the data with your qualitative assessment here. I've slightly pivoted a lot of my work into behavioural economics, which is what you're essentially broaching into here. I assure you the big clubs all have this data set and where it has the most value for the club is the commercialization and revenue generating mechanics needed to secure sponsorships. Growth, retention and sentiment obviously the main KPIs, but it's always interesting to unpack nuance such as the character of a particular ownership group. Best of luck to you!
