Ryan Taylor re-signed for Port Vale and bagged the winner on his 2nd debut tonight.

Can't help but hope the bloke can stay fit and have a couple more years in the leagues, like. Whatever you make of him as a player he's had some horrendous luck with injuries.

Entertaining for all the wrong reasons, though. He's a petty, petty little man whose teams play the worst brand of football you could imagine.

 loathe Mourinho but Keane should be ashamed of himself there

Why ? Keanes showed himself up talking crap plenty of times but he's spot on here.

Man who can't manage either a football team or his own emotions going to town on one of the most successful managers in the modern game. Urgh.

Mourinho can't manage his emotions (see eye gouging etc) and would he have done as well at Sunderland ?  Give keane a premier team and the ability to blow most out the water financially and we'll talk.

I'm not a mourinho fan.

Fair enough, but Keane is a fucking arsehole: self-centred and psychopathic. He was a bully as a captain not a real leader and obviously was going to struggle as a manager, particularly to sustain the kind of consistent relationships you need in order to keep the whole team onside (so to speak) and motivated.

Just seen highlights of the Atletico Madrid-Leicester UEFA Cup matches from 1997. Christ, that second leg referee is as close to corrupt as you'll see.

Garry Parker sent-off for a second yellow for taking a free-kick too quickly, a stonewall penalty for Izzet turned away. Pretty good that Leicester drew the one side they have a bit of history with.

The ref only ever appeared in Europe once again after that.

The picture of Ian Marshall eating paella from the match programme was incredible [emoji38]

Mourinho's a winy little bitch, but lets keep things real here. Mourinho is one of the most successful managers ever, whereas Keane has achieved pretty much nothing as a manager.

Also, Mourinho's first job wasn't Porto, he has to work his way up and winning the UEFA Cup & CL with Porto is an incredible achievement.

Winning the CL with Inter whilst Barcelona were arguably at their peak is his greatest achievement.

Keane just an angry man who makes good print for the masses.

Oh look another dig at Guardiola....

May as well not have any pundits or experts ever if we are judging pundits by how well they've done as managers.

I always assumed your username was in reference to Roy Keane's dog

Yes, I was talking about Mourinho. Agree about Keane. The fact he has this drive to oppose the consensus makes him one of the better pundits by default.

He's thick as mince, even by Irish standards. Being a contrarian doesn't change that.

Does that mean fans are talking nonsense, then?

Fair play to Keane for saying what needed to be said, to be honest. Too many pundits out there have too many connections and therefore too worried about saying something that might bounce back on them. (The other night Dixon described Vardy's reaction as "cute", but Keane said it how it should have been said: "a form of cheating". Dixon grew some balls, changed his mind and then agreed with Keane.)

He captained Man Utd to their most successful spell in their history
