It seems like he isn't going to be fit enough for Liverpool for a few games yet - match fit anyway so first game could be Merseyside derby. I'd imagine they'll have him on the bench, but this self imposed strike hasn't went well from a professional perspective - he got his move, but I wonder at what cost.

Fans don’t mind as long as the goals go in. If he struggles at club or country then the knives will be out quickly based on who he’s shown himself to be. If he scores then the narrative is “he had to do what was right for his career”, if he doesn’t it becomes “he lost himself in the hype and his character and ego are the reason he’ll never reach the very top”. Let’s hope it’s the latter, you fucking piece of shit (Isak that is)

While I find it hard to get too worked up about this whole situation. Pure poetry needs to be acknowledged and respected. Well done.

Love this……..I’m no expert but should it not be “fucking Swedish twat”? “Swedish fucking twat” suggests he is Swedish and fucks twats which on reflection isn’t offensive at all. Can’t fault the last bit.

It's cost his old club and his country. I doubt he's that bothered about either. It's not going to cost Liverpool, that's the kicker, and that's what would affect him most negatively.

Geniunely would've thought "what the hell has this guy done to @gbandit for him to go that far?!" without the part in the parenthesis  Sometimes I've wondered if it's ever really necessary to clarify stuff in posts that way, turns out the answer is a very definitive "yes, it is"

He's cost them big time. Should have been a really winnable group for them. Now they might not even make a play-off.

I'm sure the Swedish fans understand that as a Swedish boy, Sweden are playing for Isak. Not the other way around.

Or something like that.

Jon Dahl Tomasson was basically making his excuses for him even when he was still on strike at Newcastle. He might as well have passed him the burgers and coke while he sat at home instead of training properly.

Is that the same Tomasson who was a (shit)short lived striker for us?

That true? He really said that ?

”That was the maximum number of minutes I could give him. You want to play him every minute. You see that he is dangerous and creates chances. But we want to play him next month, the months after that, and next year as well.”
