Any one know what the situation is if Isak doesn't put in a formal transfer request?  Does it mean he gets 10% of any transfer fee.  If he goes for £150m does that mean he gets £15m.  Surely what he is doing is tantamount to a formal transfer request and therefore not entitled to a percentage of the transfer fee.

% of fee… as does agent… and ALL loyalty bonuses

Never ceases to amaze me why when players are apparently so desperate to leave they seem reticent to doing the very thing they need to and that’s ask for a transfer request.

It's like what they said on TS earlier in the week about this, saying you've got very well paid players, have their heads turned by the offer of even higher wages, and seem desperate to be away.

But they wont put a transfer request in, and lose fees and bonuses for doing so. It's all greed and they want it all ways, and wont sacrifice any of it to get what they seemingly want (the move and the higher wages).

It's presumably not known whether this is Isak not willing to play, or Howe not letting him play (following on from the "earn the right to train" comments)?

How does one earn the right to train though? I’m curious what the criteria is that he needs to meet.

If there is a way back, making potential memes is probably not going to help. I suggest that we save those for when he does leave. We don't need to pull an Everton and get the pitchforks out.

but baby I’m bored.

i also doubt he reads this forum.

Why would Hope confirm feelings from sources around the club is it’s best if Isak is sold when we are lookin the highest possible price for him???

The deal might already been agreed and they are trying to prepare the fans for his departure.

If they've agreed a deal, with us still having no striker through the door, and currently scraping the bottom of the barrel... would be unacceptable.

I doubt that's the case. But they're making it so obvious they're desperate for a replacement, which is virtually the same thing anyway

Agreed a deal dependant on us getting a replacement that is.

We are being way too nice to him, and other players will follow his lead if we don't make an example out of him. Fucking Marinakis had Gibbs White doing an apologetic side pitch interview, after he signed a new contract, where he says he loves to stay at Forest after Spurs triggered his release clause, while we have this cunt running away to Spain while faking injuries. I mean, what does it say to other transfer targets we are looking to get if the best player is going on strike in order to get a move to a team we are trying to get closer to? Fuck him. Club has to have some mechanisms in order to protect themselves. Sure this rag is not saying that he will play with 50% of his ability if he doesn't get a move. What else can he do?

This should've been done way earlier. But I have a feeling that Eddie is the decision maker here; he would not welcome a player who is 90% committed. And this is the reason why I believe he will leave.

If this is the case, then the club should not being listening to Howe at all on this. I'd think that Howe was being very myopic at this point, and not thinking beyond the locker room. From a club's perspective, the perception is disastrous, and could well be for other players. Throw a hissy fit, try ot force a move, and get what you want. Why should the club sacrifice their leverage to satisfy one player, and at the expense of so much more?
