Alexander Isak: has a chance to play against Everton (Howe)

Recommended Posts

I was listening to him and Bruno's interview about the game, and the calmness and self belief they both showed is exactly what elite level athletes and people are all about, he's one of the best if not the best striker in the world right now and i really hope we continue to progress and win with him up top.

Thrilled for him today.

Scoring a goal and winning a final against Liverpool has got to feel tremendous.

Hopefully inspires him to stay on and help reach the next level.

Still think it depends in us getting CL or not tbh. This guy is ambitious.

Seeing as we won this cup, you may find that we will relax and msy qualify for CL

Need a HD pic of him doing his Angel of the North impression.

Also, I fucking love his running GTFOH celebration  Guy is a legend.

He’s just done something every single one of us have dreamt of, scoring a winner for Newcastle in a cup final. I hope he fully understands what that means.

Sit him down now while his love for the toon is full to the brim.

He now knows he can win things here and we have the opportunity to get champions league again in these final ten games. This guy is the one we build it all around he's our elite.

Feel very reassured about his future here given how happy and proud he looked during the celebrations.

As much as he might be happy here, you couldn't blame him for having nagging doubts about us being a club that just will never win anything. That was put to bed yesterday. It proves there are no limits.

The more I see of his disallowed goal the more I think it should have stood. The side-on angle is deceptive and implies Bruno is stood in front of the keeper, restricting his view. In fact the keeper had a clear view and fumbles it. He was very poor today, I know some were looking at him as potential NUFC target. No thanks.

I'm sure we'd have seen more discussion of it had it been an equalizer for them. As it was, we barely got a replay. I would imagine the flag went up seemingly mistakenly for Isak, not for Bruno who the lino can't have known was in the keeper's eyeline. Unless Isak was clearly offside, it should have automatlcally launched a proper VAR review.
