Alexander Isak: has a chance to play against Everton (Howe)

Recommended Posts

I think Isak floating and Wilson pinning the CBs will hugely help us mitigate the loss of Bruno.
Changes our shape quite a bit but would offer something serious in attack.

Its the he defending aspect that would need work.

We have an excellent shape that we’ve been crafting all season. Have to deviate from that with Bruno’s absence.

I feel like he is ok. The concussion protocol is clear, if he was diagnosed with concussion he wouldn't be able to play, regardless of how he felt. Either Howe is deliberately being vague (which he does like to do with injuries) or he isn't concussed and Howe is just being cautious and waiting to see how he feels.

He didn't say he was slightly concussed, he said he had slight signs of concussion. You can be a bit dizzy or have a headache without having officially a "concussion".

Now fair enough, having slight signs of concussion after smacking your head probably means concussion even if it's a slight one. I don't know exactly how it's diagnosed and evaluated.

The absence of his sharpness (feet and mind) was keenly felt until, Gordon's entrance.

The two of them should have a rejuvanating effect themselves but a full week off wont go amiss

think there'll be a different zest at Bournemouth, win lose or draw
