I honestly think they're bricking it in case we get Ekitike and keep Isak. They don't want Ekitike as their main striker, whereas he wouldn't be coming here as our main striker. I'll be very surprised if Liverpool bid for Ekitike, it's more likely that either Chelsea (if they get rid of Jackson) or Man U try their luck. We paid 63 million for him, he has been great success and at the moment is our only striker. If we get Ekitike and some alternative backup, that leaves us weaker than last season, with more tough games to come. Bid would have to be enormous for anything to happen. A) I don't think Liverpool have that kind of money, cause neither did Arsenal B) Howe would go mental if this deal goes through, cause we wouldn't get decent options for ST before season starts. Keep Isak. We have a decent amount of money to spend on another striker. If not Ekitike it will be someone else of a very decent level. I don't understand why Liverpool fans think they're making some power play by threatening that they will go for Ekitike. Fine go for him then!
