If he goes to Liverpool I’m out. Signifies everything that’s wrong with the game & premier league

Start looking for a new hobby then cos that's where he is going.

We've re-started exploring a move for a top striker? It's a bit late in the day lads

Just absolute guff :D

What after Etitike, we felt that was done. And Wissa target? And now we want an actual top striker alongside Wissa?

This summer has just shown up the journos even worse. Absolute the pits.

If we get Sesko and Wissa, Gallagher, Guehi/Scalvini and Maignan/Trafford - then we're actually better off as a squad, even if we have let our one world class player go.
The argument is that we should have had all those types in mind for this season anyway.

We do need a Sesko or Osimhen level replacement - Wissa is not a no.1 striker for our aspirations.

We should retain a % of future transfer fee for him.

Liverpool literally signed the replacement. In a way they've probably reduced the chance he goes there. If he does I think a lot of people will wonder exactly what this so called "to be number 1" plan is.

Sell him if he doesn’t want to be here. Make sure we get maximum value and make lemonade from lemons. From a PSR perspective we could sign Sesko, Wissa, Gallagher, Guehi and Trafford and still have money to spend.

That article is pretty much the club confirming that we're ready to sell for £150 million.

Lets see who steps up to the plate. It would be a massive fee and that's down to how well Isak has done.

Will be immensely awful if he stays in the Premier league though, and so hopefully that can be avoided.

Which European teams can afford him?

No Serie A club.

No Bundesliga club. Bayern couldn't top Liverpool for Wirtz and struggling to come up with funds for Diaz.

No La Liga club. Real don't need him. Barca can't afford him. Couldn't afford Williams or Diaz.

Only PSG but they're not in the market for a forward.

Chelsea have Jackson, Delap, Pedro.

Arsenal have signed Gyokeres.

Only Liverpool. They're about to release several forwards: Nunez, Diaz, Chiesa, Doak and they no longer have Jota.

Fuck sake. Don't massively blame him if we're not offering a decent contract.

Fucking shambles from the club how they've handled everything off the field in the last 12-18 months tbh. Blame squarely with whoever is on the board. They've let Eddie down.

Has to pay the bills, doesn't he.

Gets all the rage from Newcastle fans and hope from Liverpool fans. Two clinically online fanbases.

Would appear it's working too. Engagement bait.

His agent was a key partner at a dubious gang related sports agency in Sweden. Even if his name is not Raiola or equally big name agent, Isak and his agent will absolutely do what's best for him - not the club - whatever it takes imo. Loyalty today is rare

Isak is his own man - the right way is to say to Eddie I will stay one more season to give you time to re-built.  This is pathetic.

With Isak money we can get Sesko, Gallagher, Guehi and Trafford tomorrow.

We have money, we had money for Pedro, Ektike etc. Anyway, the floor must be no less than 150, guaranteed money.

5 quality players in 35 days😀 no way we have the speed to do that

One a week. I don't trust our ability to haggle and negotiate so for speed we need to pay release clauses.
Where's Graham Carr's little black book of release clauses?

I still think he’ll stay largely because I’m not sure who is paying up. But this suddenly feels in play:

Sell

Isak for £140m

Buy

Guehi £55m

Gallagher £40m

Trafford £35m

TBD striker £50-60m
