We will need two strikers now, thats the mad thing

Why we can't sell. As it's needing both strikers to also hit ground running (in terms of settling in / in game play clicking with others). If Isak has his mind on wanting to move on, then this is the Harry Kane situation. Unless someone offers £150m, you're not leaving this summer, but if someone offers £100m next summer, we won't stand in the way.

Isak produces again, the move is there (and maybe to more clubs). Onus is then just as much on him to deliver to get his move. We can then only need to sign one striker this summer, our aim all summer, and scout long term for a replacement.

It will more than likely be 130m plus 20m in add ons

And Nunez [emoji38]

I'd accept £150m without Nunez, or £170m with him.

He’s on about £120k apparently - we’d save over £5m pa in amortised fee on the books, so roughly £100k/pw before we even began any further offer

Pedantic I know but not double. I had him on 140k which would widen it further.

Get us mega strong in midfield and defence and goal then get a couple of good strikers and we can still do very well despite not having an elite striker. Just need the window to be open for much longer and the season to start later.

And maybe a bit of a head start points wise, only say 15 points obviously.

Fuck sake, we were supposed to kick on this season, and strengthen off the back of CL quals and a cup win. Instead we're selling our first team players, losing our talisman striker and effectively moving backwards. What the fuck are the higher ups playing at

We saved on wages to Wilson and Miggy so just add that saving onto Isak's current salary so he gets his £300k a week.

I think it's too late now, this all has the feeling of inevitability, he's burned his bridges in refusing to fly to ASIA with the team and declaring he wants out.

He wants to go, we could offer him 300k per week and he'd still want out.

Let's stop kidding ourselves.

Howe should be on the blower to psg and offering isak to them.

I know this is tongue in cheek but the fact you've said Howe needs to be the one doing this...sums up how the club is ran currently.

You genuinely think you’re gonna persuade him to live in Saudi to play for a non CL club when hes in this form, his stock is so high and in his peak? He’ll turn that shit down in seconds regardless of money I reckon.

It doesn't have to be a genuine bidding war man, anything that helps set his price to anyone else that tries to low-ball us.

Everyone saying Sesko, didn't Arsenal walk away because his transfer cost + wages were too high?

And that's a cartel club

We've shown we won't bid above the market value of players / pay them craxy wages

They did the same with Isak 3-4 years ago.
