If he gets his little move to Liverpool I’ll be attending church every Sunday, the mosque every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and the local synagogue every other day, on my hand and knees, praying for the mother of all ACL injuries

The cunts certainly relentless, clearly on the payroll to keep pushing the narrative.

At this point I’d happily let Isak rot for 3 years and not receive a penny. Let’s see who blinks first when his career starts going down the pan.

By being awkward he's trying to drive the price down but that's a bit daft with 3 years left. He's essentially breaching his contract and we should be asking more and more as a result. He and his advisors have manufactured this entire situation and there's no reason whatsoever why Newcastle United should suffer financially because of it. They're playing daft cunts, they're the ones breaching the contract he signed and they're the ones who've caused this so they're the ones who should lose out.

There's a right way and a wrong way to go about getting a move away and Isak has broken every single rule in the book by going about it the way he has

I just want PIF to tell Liverpool to jog on - regardless of what they offer.  I am passed caring if Isak plays again or not. I. just want the club to display a position of strength.

It's literally the same slightly reworded tweet that he's been posting every day for a week. Lunacy.

It's only been a week? Feels like 6 months.

Yet people kept clicking on it - £££ for Mr Romano

we're not going to formally invite a bid are we?

if you want him, make us an offer and we'll give you an answer.

whats so difficult?

If we have a striker in place, then he's more dispensable. Thus cheaper. They're just waiting, like dicks.

I think tweets like that have a purpose, it’s designed to rattle Newcastle fans and make him playing another game for us too toxic to happen. All this media attention is ramping up the agro when the truth is not much is happening, it’s a bit of a stand off and Liverpool are looking very hesitant IMO.

This cunt is the absolute worst.

So in other words, Newcastle's stance clearly remains that he's not for sale.

This media campaign has lasted 2 weeks now, and contrary to what every journo  would like us to think (with their incessant think pieces about how Isak will fit into Liverpool's starting XI) the fact remains that the closing of the window is fast approaching and there has been fuck all progress.

If we miss out on Sesko, I don't see how we can afford to let go of Isak even if our preference would've been to cash in on an unhappy player. The time needed to sign 2 strikers before the window shuts just isn't there.

Tough luck Liverpool

Weirdest transfer saga I've seen for a while, although I don't follow many obviously.

A player ready to go to a club that haven't bid, a seller that openly says they don't want to sell. The buyer has also invested in another massive purchase in the same position.

Can't believe it's only been 2 weeks

It was only two seasons ago we finished above Liverpool when we finished fourth. Isak got a short memory.  Journalists seem to forget that.

And what? End up having to buy another striker on huge wages, whilst continuing to pay Isak's, getting no money for him to help us fund that striker, which would in turn mean we can't strengthen elsewhere? And the club would suffer greatly as a result?

Only lost 5 games all season.  Hard to believe but it happened.

The only reason the wheels feel off a bit the next season was due to injuries and lack of squad depth (sound familiar 😬) other wise whose to say we wouldn't have repeated it. It really annoys me that everyone bigs up Liverpool like they are a legacy club. Yes they were in the 80s but they have only won the PL twice and last season was more down to the failings of other clubs like City. No other club in the PL has had our level of upward trajectory in the last 4 years.
