I mean, I know I’ve shared a lot of my own views and some from behind the scenes in the last few days, but imagine how mint it would be if we somehow announced a new contract and number 9 shirt before next weekends friendlies 😁

Should never get near the 9 shirt

We haven't done very well either like

if we keep Isak then our strategy worked and we are stronger because of it. Don’t get roped into the emotional narratives around incompetence. The narrative around our transfer business until about a minute ago was that we were meticulous and made zeros to few mistakes.

Liverpool are pussies really. Tapped up the player, turned his head, caused friction now at our club, took an age to put a bid in, finally put a (frankly embarrassing) bid in, get told to do one, and then scurry away with their tail between their legs and decide not to put a second bid in.

Did we just outmanoeuvre Liverpool?

That’s it? One bid?

It’s like chasing Sydney Sweeney, promising her the night of her life, she keeps knocking you back until you eventually wear her down, she gives you a shot and you last ten seconds. That’s it?

One bid Liverpool. That’s what we going to call them now.

Pussies.

If he stays there will definitely start to be a backtrack from media that he is over priced and injury prone and it's insulting that we value him so highly, especially if he starts the season shit as will be expected if he stays now......

all while for the past year they have been the ones hyping him in the press as the best striker in the league currently and how Arsenal must sit him etc.

So which is it? He's either top 3 strikers in the league and a unicorn player as they describe him in a era of few star strikers. Or he's over hyped and injury prone. Which is it?

Sky Sports have started already, seemingly highlighting last season stats for our desired fee...

"Alexander Isak is believed to have held clear the air talks with Eddie Howe and senior Newcastle United players"

or

"Alexander Isak has re-iterated his desire to join Liverpool but is willing to wait until the 26/27 season"

Who did Liverpool have to ring to place their feeble bid, I wonder.

There is only ONE person they could have rung !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PIF should tell Liverpool they will take Nunez off their hands for a ridiculous fee for the Saudi league, but only if they back off Isak.

Why? Why do them any favours at all. We have told them to fuck off- and despite restrictions on actually spending it we do have fuck off money- and that can be the end of that. It’s all about Howe mending things with Isak now, and I think he will.

It's a bit of a flAw in the system that Liverpool actually get to cause all of this damage for basically free and without penalty like.

The behaviour is absolutely unacceptable.

It's like 'tapping up' wasn't a massive thing.

How did Forest's complaint get handled, recently? I reckon we could do with backing them up on that one.

Why would they need to do that, when a simple "fuck off, you arent getting Isak" would suffice?

Which is exactly the response I would hazard a guess is what Yasir instructed our negotiators to issue, especially considering he said earlier this year Isak was his favourite player and wouldn’t be allowed to leave iirc.

I feel we have been the subject of an organised effort by some of the big six to destabilise us, going for our targets after we have done all the groundwork on deals and have bids accepted and publicly courting our players, even going so far as to turn them against us in the case of Isak. All seemingly because they can see the black and white monster looming larger and larger in their rear view mirrors.

Our owners simply cannot yield to such bullying. If anything it should strengthen their resolve to succeed, and I’m hopeful it will.

Quite the opposite, "heres £80 million for Nunez on the basis you add it all onto your shitty £110m Isak bid"

Doesn't deserve number 9. That ship has sailed, especially as we would know he's staying one year more max.
