We had a buddy take money to edit a film behind our back from the producer. My other friend’s Egyptian dad gave him a proper Arab verbal bollocking, but then made sure that he was included in the group dinner later. Our buddy felt terrible about it, and has showed nothing but kindness and loyalty for the last 17 years. That guy has been one of my best friends since.

 

Absurd amounts of money here make it a different game, but I always thought that my friend’s dad handled the situation like a masterclass.

I didnt I said you were being naive or deluded. You can’t understand that Eddie wanted Isak on that plan he said so after the Celtic game, Isak asked not to go on the tour (from good sources) and that Isak then said he was injured which a scan showed was clear. No one is calling Eddie a cuck or even suggesting it. If you think Eddie Howe left him off the tour then fair enough I think you are miles off.

Wonder how many clubs would be interested next summer if thy know he's going to be available? He'd be a year older and only 2 years to go which isn't great but more clubs sniffing could negate that and drive the price even higher than it is now. The likes of Real, Barca, PSG, Bayern, Chelsea and Arsenal get involved we could end up even better off. Strikers like him don't come on to the market too often

Rumours of Kane leaving Bayern next season and Barca having sorted their registration problems. Would be a much better market for him next summer I think.
