Don't know why people are still thinking he will definitely still be going. For 1, we don't have one striker coming in never mind two, and 2, there is not a hope in hell that he would go for anything less than 150 plus. So was this just an exercise in cunting us about, disrupting our transfer window and unsettling our best striker just before we play them?  Why go through all of this just to put in a derisory offer you know will never be accepted and then go "Fine, won't bother then" when it's rejected?

Who said that? 
 

What I mean is that the way we rejected the bid, and the small size of the bid, is pretty unusual. It doesn’t feel to me like a negotiation. 
 

Of course I wish this was the case, so we’ll see.
