My thinking is that they were just testing the water knowing it was getting rejected, who accepts the first offer?? I'm guessing they've been a bit taken aback by how quickly it was rejected and will come back again after the Liverpool (H) game with a better offer. I'm also guessing they're in the process of selling Nunez and will be able to get close to the reported 150m we're apparently after.

 

I think they'll eventually get him tbh. But not anywhere near as cheaply as they were hoping for. I think we'll get every penny of what we're looking for

I'd say they are gagging on Alex to put a Transfer Request in, leaving us with no time to get anyone in, Winning a cup and getting cl again has pissed the "elite" off they are now just going for all our targets to fuck us up

The easiest solution to this problem is:

1) put Isak on a private jet to KSA

2) Sit down with Yasir and Eddie

3) Agree a new contract that provides him a straightforward (but expensive - let's say £115m) out to any non-PL club next summer. Maybe include a wink, wink Saudi League promise if needed.

4) Isak speaks to the team and apologizes for the distraction

5) The fans stand behind him

 

Just make it happen.
