It wouldn't be an issue to just do all of our spending in this financial year and sell him in the next one. It's a 3 year cycle after all. 

 

Obviously involves a degree of risk as if Isak were to get seriously injured the price could be impacted.

It doesn’t exactly take a rocket scientist. It was widely reported he returned to Newcastle from Spain and Eddie is back also.

The squad isnt training today. There's no reason for them to be there unless they were told.

If guy wants to move for £150m, Liverpool sure as hell will be telling him to train and get fitness / sharpness up, whilst they work on a deal.

 

You don't spend that much on a player who then turns up 6+ weeks behind fitness of the rest of your squad, have to play catch up, then get injured doing so.
