Personally I wouldn't sell to Liverpool at any price given their actions, next summer and to a team on the continent makes far more sense, financially, professionally and optically. Couldn't have said it any better

They’ll have too much ego to just meet our price and clearly want to be seen as a big club that can bully non-ESL clubs. STM
I 100% guarantee that we hear "Isak has reiterated is desire to leave". Hes only returning to add pressure. Don't think for a second there will be any good intentions. His agent will have instructed him.

STM
He wont train. Make no mistake, he will be gone again within the hour. Its all deliberately trying to put pressure on us. He will be making it absolutely clear that he wont play for us again. If you expect positive news, you haven't been paying attention.

STM
Also, just as an indicator of what's going on. Let's see who talks about the private conversation, they are about to have, first? It wont come from the Newcastle end. Edited August 4, 2025 by STM

It's a 3 year cycle after all. Obviously involves a degree of risk as if Isak were to get seriously injured the price could be impacted.

AyeDubbleYoo
The fact that the club was putting out noises about there still being a road back and he can be reintegrated etc makes me think it’s not all lost. We will see.

Sibierski
If guy wants to move for £150m, Liverpool sure as hell will be telling him to train and get fitness / sharpness up, whilst they work on a deal. You don't spend that much on a player who then turns up 6+ weeks behind fitness of the rest of your squad, have to play catch up, then get injured doing so.
