I'd be extremely surprised if the same people running the Saudi league has anything to do with the people following up us, and even more surprised if they acutally talk and collaborate together to align strategies between the two. PIF is just too big of a beast. I imagine the people running Al Halal or Bin Tittifad doesn't give a flying fuck if a player they want means a competitor of NUFC would get rid of a player they don't want and enables them to weaken NUFC.

I don't think that's unreasonable either.

Yasir is the managing director of PIF and he's also our chairman.  Come on..

Ornstein and Romano are taking payments from Isak's agent so it's a bit daft to get worked up over their opinion. They can say his chapter is over but he's got 3 years left here and we haven't received a close to sensible offer all window [emoji38]

This. After this window there can longer be any doubt which are the clubs that are making Romano and Ornstein very wealthy men.

The best thing you can do for yourself is shut out all their noise, come off social media, don't listen to any of those gibbons on TalkShite, Sky Sports News etc and for goodness sake, absolutely don't watch any clickbait/ragebait nonces on youtube.

Newcastle Online on the other hand? Great place to vent your frustrations with a great set of lads!

In the next 9 days we would need Brentford to sign a striker, which doesn’t seem close to happening, and us to sign Wissa.

People seem to forget that fact in general. We don’t really have four weeks to buy players.

We shouldn’t be waiting for them IMO, we’re taking the situation out of our own hands. I would like Wissa but there are alternatives, like the player Brentford supposedly want.

He's managing director of a wealth fund that employs 2500+ people, 250+ companies in 13 different sectors across the globe, but yeah, lets set off the day to discuss and align transfer strategies and targets between numerous Saudi clubs and Newcastle

Ornstein saying in that clip that we won't admit it, but we might need to sell Isak to fund A CB and CM...

Every report since January has said we have the money to fill those positions without a sale. Bias from the media is crazy

Who said they were talking shit about Sesko? Man Utd being interested was as obvious as it can be.

About 50% of the thread, that’s why it went on so long

As I said in the rumours page I think he’s right. Disgraceful if it is but it does seem logical.

i just ask myself if we had sufficient PSR room would we be trying to buy Thaiw & McGinn. Not a chance imo

I’ve been wondering this since the Thiaw link tbh. Are we after him because budget is limited and he seemed to be available for less this summer, rather than him being a preferred option.

It's almost as if Ornstein just goes with the flow.

I mean, they all do. Til they're briefed by their masters (or sources, depending on how you feel about it), it's all pure conjecture.

Think that’s absolutely what it is. Wanted Guehi & Scalvini both are too expensive

But it’s ridiculous. rCB like RW was a long term problem position to fill. Where’s the budget gone? We’ve hardly got any players beyond the first 15.

we know for sure we have the Trafford money of 30m the Wissa money of 35m the Šeško money of 80m and perhaps the Almiron/Longstaff/Kelly money of 40m. Not counting the 55m spent on Elanga. Assuming Dubs and Ramsdale equal themselves out.

Thats 200m near enough.

Wissa (35m) and Ramos/Samu (60)

then a RCB like Guehi or Scalvini at 45m takes us to 140m

theres still 60m left for a midfielder or two. Paqueta and McGinn

We flogged Longstaff 12 million.

Miggy 7 million.

Kelly 20 million.

Dubravka 7 million.

we've only bought Elanga should have at least 120 million lying about.

Say 60 for a striker, 40 for a defender and 20 for a midfielder.

The Sesko money is the Isak money. And maybe what we’ve made from sales is covering some losses rather than increasing the budget by a lot. I don’t really know but something doesn’t seem right.

Doesnt add up with what 99.9% of the journalists and Kieran Maguire said before the transfer window opened. Add that we sold Longstaff on top of that. Its nonsense..

with PIF sending the money for Nunez Liverpool may make a second bid. the fuckers imo still will be well short of 150m just to fuck with us and fuck with Isak too.

How many times are people going to repeat this rubbish?
