no, even if we had one in mind, surely now it’s gone. Absolutely no chance the Saudis would bow for anything now.

Wouldn’t be so sure personally, but we will see where it goes from here

The Andy Carroll to Liverpool saga was fucking awful, but I suppose over with relatively swiftly. And unlike Isak, we all liked the lad.

I think we liked him more once he was a steaming pile of shite for Liverpool and bombed out to Fat Sam after a year or two.

Love the fact the club have held firm - Isak needs to wake up and smell the coffee.  Liverpool are the ones who have hung him out to dry - Ekitike aside they were never going to pay anything close to what we value him at.

I'd say there is less than a 1% chance he plays against Liverpool. If he was a real man though,he'd 100% be playing against them. As we've seen though, he's not.

Considering this deal is dead, the best thing for him to do from a PR standpoint would be to unexpectedly start the game against Liverpool.

He won't do that unfortunately, because he seems to be advised by the most incompetent football agent I've come across in a while.

There's absolutely no chance in hell that Eddie would want him starting on Monday after having had 0 minutes of pre season anyway.

We'd better get in enough options upfront to not have to be waiting around for this guy to get his stupid head right, never mind the fact he's had no pre season.

That will send the strongest message of all and really put him in his place.

Isak is under paid for the level he is at - if Mitchell had offered him a new contract at the start of last season none of this would have happened.

I mean, maybe? How do we know Liverpool still don't come in for him? Doesn't give him a gateway to being a complete cunt, though.

We are now at this stage of the saga.

Throughout this whole process, my stance is that Liverpool are our superiors - both on and off the pitch.   I am honoured that we will continue to emulate a club that sets such high benchmarks around class and professionalism, and that Isak will not be going anywhere this window.

YNWA.

This much is obvious. Amanda is so much smarter than Mitchell.

But what Isak and agent haven’t factored in. Is with either Scenario we have the leverage. That 6 years on £100k or whatever was a masterstroke by Staveley and Ashworth.  You can’t bully a transfer from this position.

You believe this? He's shown his ass and he's a massive whopper imo. This happens regardless imo.

Swivel on that you huffy little bastard.

Absolutely class the club have not allowed themselves to be pushed around in this saga. That would have set us up for the same happening in future windows.

To be a fly on the wall for his first day back.

Nah they would have a chance to negotiate an out. We gave kne to Bruno.

If they didn’t they couldn’t act out to this extent.

Again though he essentially has that now given the club statement.

It just so happens the club this fucker is twerking for bought his replacement and we're never willing to pay the going rate for this sack of shit.

To me it's been clear from day one this situation has been created by the player/agent and Liverpool to try and get him on the cheap.

Isak really is one of the thickest cunts in football.  What did he think his statement would result in?

Looks like we get one more year of him, and with any luck he’s off to the continent next summer.  I’ll happily celebrate any and every goal he scores, further cheered that I don’t have to hear that fucking dreadful ‘gimme gimme gimme a striker from Sweden’ dirge after it.

We had better get our shit together over the next year to get a replacement in well in advance of any sale. Our transfer strategy is calamitous at best.

Beginning of last season supposedly we were hamstrung with psr. So not giving isak a new contract was probably the right idea with four years left to go,

But just say we did offer him a new contract, after last season he'd be wanting another one. 😂 We couldn't keep doing it.
