It’s so weak.

There has to be a response. And that response is PIF starting to be aggressive with upping our PSR limits and taking up loopholes. Get us some loans from Saudi at least.

But if I’m being honest they just don’t care that much about this.  All that talk is bluster. The actions prove it’s not that deep for them.

Yup they aren't bothered. It's obvious.

OR… just maybe… we’ve already agreed or pretty much agreed the next deal so that’s why we’ve accepted this offer tonight?

Guess we’ll find out tomorrow.

It would take it from a -10 move to a -5 rating. All of the stupidity of the move is bad enough, but my pride will never be able to take it. The owners letting the club be disrespected and then disrespecting it themselves is unforgiveable in my eyes.

Looking at him now, though, you can see the red flags. At no point did he own a house. At no point did his family come and join him here. At no point did he create a proper life here.

Look at Sandro. Married. Having his first kid. Gordon the same. Barnes the same. Etc. They’ve built their lives here.

In hindsight, it’s obvious that Isak was a cold character with nothing tying him to the city, culture etc.

I thought he was getting somewhere built?

Does he have a partner who could’ve joined him?

It's hard to even put into words how much we've facilitated another club fucking us over. We really are Reek in Game of Thrones like - slaves to someone that castrated us

Can we keep these equivalences coming please?

They sold him becuase he told them to fuck off to their face on Monday. It’s fine.  Get over it. Move on. Fuck him and everything he’s done to engineer this move this way. Happy he’s gone. Don’t fucking come at me with the emotive shit against my post either. They did what they wanted to do and I’m over it and him.

Hopefully announcing now means there is at least one more significant incoming tomorrow. Get the bad news out of the way, etc.

Like who? Larson or Wissa for £60 - £70mil?  We have basically handed Liverpool one of the best strikers in the world below his market value when we held all the cards.  It is f**king mental.

Isak has forced the clubs hand somewhat here. It's a sad indictment that footballers have too much power in the game. A depreciating asset that holds all the cards. I personally do not believe we have done this with any great ease and suspect that from both a footballing and financial point of view this decision has been made.

Bad apple ousted and pockets lined. Attempt to calm the storm with a signing or two tomorrow and then let positivity reign.

That's all we can do. There's nothing to suggest we have done otherwise under this management to date.

He didn't force Anything man it isn't in his power to do so. He was literally out of cards putting out stupid public statements.

It's just for whatever reason weve given in.

All I’ve heard for a solid month either on here, on other social media, and in person is our fans saying that we can’t keep a hold of him and we should get him out of the door.

Now that we are doing that people are losing my minds.

I’m disappointed that we have sold to them, but at least I have been consistent in saying that we shouldn’t sell to them and even suggesting that we should be offering him to clubs abroad.

People need to get a grip, you can’t spend 4-6 saying that we should sell him and that there is no way back for him, to then turn around and say the owners have no ambition etc.

130m rather than holding out for 150m and having that rat stink up the place for the next 4 months till he left in january.

closure for eddie and the players.

lets move on.

if we dont buy tomorrow we will definitley do so in january.

this is nowt new to some of us.

blame Masters and Isak and his agent.

i'll be there for wolves and then barca giving it all i've got.

I dont think it is embarrassing.

only for Isak in the way he acted.

It’s going to be Wissa or Larsen man.

I just don't see how Wissa makes sense unless there is serious compromise on the Brentford side - the PSR black hole he'll create would eliminate most of the 90 million-ish we just created with Isak.

Larsen you could at least sell at a loss and still break even on through this glorified accountancy simulator doen the line

It fucks me off. Don't get me wrong. I just think there are positives to take and we NEED to take them.

Logically I’m not sure what could be done if the meeting between PIF and Isak resulted in Isak standing his ground and refusing to play.  I doubt that Howe is unhappy with this character leaving his changing room regardless of undoubted talent

Leaning heavily into your ITK powers but you had any noise that anything else was close or possible?

Hopefully good news in the morning with other clubs standing firm so far.

I’ve heard nothing concrete other than as of this morning we were very confident of landing a striker. Who specifically, or how far along it is I don’t know.

All I’m saying is, for me, there’s every chance we sign a good player tomorrow and if that happens, I still think it’s been a very good window, slightly soured by Isak being a bellend.

I’m certainly not in the “owners have bended over” camp. I’m in the “owners and Eddie are doing what they believe is right for NUFC” camp, because that’s what they’ve shown us so far.

This is shit. Many of us have said from the beginning that we shouldn't allow ourselves to be bullied by the cunts at all.

We were always a stepping stone to him. That’s fine, go to the champions because you didn’t have it in you to be one here. I hope it goes pear shaped and his house is burgled repeatedly (no harm to anyone obviously, just steal his shit and joyride his Ferrari).

Yep, exactly.

We aren't idiots like. We do some dumb shit but there will be strong reasoning for this.

We do nothing. We don't raise the white flag though. I'm not sure why they were meeting him prior to the window closing anyway again came across as weak to me.

Can’t wait to play against him at anfield when he’s either injured or tries to come at one of our players. He’s an absolute loser of the highest order and Liverpool are the biggest sacks of shit in football.
