This has only happened due to Isak’s actions, he’s totally fucked the club over in every possible way, but I can see why we’d want to get something for him but it’s fucking hard to swallow even at 130.

No we fucked ourselves over by being piss weak. We had all the cards and yet here we are bending over pants around our ankles.

£25m discount to a supposed domestic rival, then going into the market on the last day with £130m in your pocket. It's breathtakingly braindead

OR… just maybe… we’ve already agreed or pretty much agreed the next deal so that’s why we’ve accepted this offer tonight?

Guess we’ll find out tomorrow.

Unsure why selling earlier would've changed anything.

Us selling Isak 6 weeks ago wouldn't have changed the Sesko outcome or suddenly softened Brentfords stance re: Wissa.

Of course it would. Every press conference has been overshadowed by this snake, it has been dragging the club down. Even if the replacement wasn’t in (Woltemade could have possibly come earlier) the whole mood of the club would have been better.

Hard to swallow, unlike Yasir chugging down FSG's spunk, the fucking spineless cunt

Have you heard any rumblings on this or are you speculating?

Good question. No CEO. No DOF.

It’s a rudderless ship. Held together by a top manager and a really game team.

And a shit website to boot. Off the field we are absolutely miles behind.

Never ever forget that yes, Isak's been a cunt, but the club didn't need to do this AT ALL.

100% our choice and I won't hear anything else. We've rolled over here it's as simple at that.

To quote Ab-soul. Grow a spinal cord or back track, we know what we did.

Sandro isn't here in 12 months imo.

Not sure I expected him to be here forever in fairness.

I never expected any of the squad signed from the takeover to the present to be here long term ‘project’ or not.  We signed young players who would likely be able to be flipped for a profit - PSR demands it in order to grow.  I expected Isak to be off next summer and have done for some time - I just didn’t know that he was this type of mercenary.  Now it’s happening I’m actually far less annoyed than I thought I’d be - reminds me of selling Andy Cole.

That's fucking insane if we give in to Howe wanting him gone though. Without a replacement for Wilson, all the work to get Woltemade is almost meaningless. Poor dude is going to be expected to tear up trees as soon as he gets on the pitch. This is throwing Woltemade under the bus as well.

It’s so weak.

There has to be a response. And that response is PIF starting to be aggressive with upping our PSR limits and taking up loopholes. Get us some loans from Saudi at least.

But if I’m being honest they just don’t care that much about this.  All that talk is bluster. The actions prove it’s not that deep for them.

Leaning heavily into your ITK powers but you had any noise that anything else was close or possible?

Hopefully good news in the morning with other clubs standing firm so far.

Isak has forced the clubs hand somewhat here. It's a sad indictment that footballers have too much power in the game. A depreciating asset that holds all the cards. I personally do not believe we have done this with any great ease and suspect that from both a footballing and financial point of view this decision has been made.

Bad apple ousted and pockets lined. Attempt to calm the storm with a signing or two tomorrow and then let positivity reign.

That's all we can do. There's nothing to suggest we have done otherwise under this management to date.

It fucks me off. Don't get me wrong. I just think there are positives to take and we NEED to take them.
