I never expected any of the squad signed from the takeover to the present to be here long term ‘project’ or not. We signed young players who would likely be able to be flipped for a profit - PSR demands it in order to grow. I expected Isak to be off next summer and have done for some time - I just didn’t know that he was this type of mercenary. A depreciating asset that holds all the cards. I personally do not believe we have done this with any great ease and suspect that from both a footballing and financial point of view this decision has been made. Bad apple ousted and pockets lined. Attempt to calm the storm with a signing or two tomorrow and then let positivity reign. That's all we can do. There's nothing to suggest we have done otherwise under this management to date.
