Squad harmony has always been a massive unpinning of our success and the perceived impact of having him around the club, and us not being able to bring in a replacement, has obviously been factored in as well. Too easy to say we were bullied. The situation has been far from ideal from the start, and Liverpool have underpaid, but we have restored harmony in the squad and we're net ahead of where we were last season overall. Digging your heels in just to prove a point and protect your ego is small time. Unfortunately journalists don't make their money from being objective.
