Ekitike would've been immense for us man, shame.

Aye that’s the most annoying thing at this point.

I was so excited when we were linked with him again. From his early comps I thought he would go onto be a serious player.  So much in his locker.  Shame he’s doing the business over there.

Another exhibit in the ever mounting pile of evidence that Ekitike is comfortably the better player for them. Isak is no longer competing for the role of 1st choice striker, he's now been reduced to being wheeled out to saunter around for 15/20 minutes once the game is sewn up to remind the fans that he's still there.

The Liverpool fans must despise him already!

Imagine where they'd be if they spent the £130m on their defence.

I suppose if we look at it rationally, we tried to sign Ekitike twice before going to Isak

Brighton should have got something out the game based on the highlights I saw.

Isak had been on for 10-15 minutes and he looked like he couldn’t even get up with play for the counter at the end. Appeared in shot just outside the box after Salah had blazed over.

Maybe he is genuinely fucked fitness wise.

Hilarious, if so.

Ekitike didn’t want to come here, we went after him enough times

So I’ll not shoulda, woulda, coulda about that, but it’s a small consolation to see him getting goals and making Isak’s performances look even worse and his signing look even more pointless

I don’t hate Ekitike, but I do hate the rat

Aye, if Liverpool didn't come in for Ekitke Man Utd probably would have

I mean, I want Ekitike to fail spectacularly, because him doing well will probably mean that those unbearable Scouse cunts are doing well, too.

I just want Rat to be doing worse

Seen that highlight, he’s just casually jogging forward. Could those rumours of his groin be true?

Would be magnificent if so.

If Liverpool hadn’t have (weirdly) came in for him as late as they did he was NUFC bound. Real shame we didn’t get this one done, he looks the real deal.

He’ll outperform Isak for them, no question.

I’m happy to see Ekitike do well and I want him to make it impossible for Slot to leave him out, so Isak can never get a good run of games.

I would rather have seen Ekitike in a Newcastle shirt. As far as I'm concerned if he succeeds at Liverpool it wipes out the failure of Isak. Especially since Liverpool took both players from us.

Said it before, will say it again. We miss this cunt. We have no fear factor anymore, defences can set up pretty comfortably against us now knowing unless Barnes or Gordon do something from the left, or Murphy puts in a peach, we have nothing.

Hope he dies but yes.

Wissa will restore a bit of it to an extent when he's up and running. I like Woltemade but he's easy to play against the way we play.

Never seen a striker lose so many duels. Must be so easy to play against.

Saw Slot's post match interview yesterday and a funny side effect is that he's having to downplay any praise he can put on Ekitike just so he can constantly keep some sort of equilibrium for all his Summer signings
