It's called build up play. A striker's role isn't just about putting it in the back of the net. I Agree with the comments above that I think he is playing with an injury and isn't 100%.

Now would be a really good time for this lad to find some fitness/form. He’s capable of making all of the CL permutations seem like inconsequential anxiety if he gets going.

He’s not quite at it at the moment, not like earlier in the season. But still scoring goals. Hopefully saving his best for the last few games.

Sure, not a typical poacher like Inzaghi or the like. But just as much a striker or goal scoring forward as Henry was for example (who he’s often compared with)

Maybe my memory is fooling me, but Henry carried the ball and created a lot more chances for Arsenal than what Isak does for us? I wish Isak would involve himself more in our build-up which we haven't seen much of, and even less lately where its felt like he's been instructed not to in order to reduce stress on an injury.

I'm 100 percent convinced we are just letting him do the minimum as we know the only other option is an even less mobile Wilson.

 

As long as Isaks on the pitch his pure aura and presence allows others a little more freedom.

He may well have been the one originally asking the questions in person but then if he was, why not just use the live material instead?
