At the end of the day what counts are winning matches. We got one in five. If that’s the norm to say what’s coming, and we are biting nails over Palace (that finished below us last season), then I’d disagree we have improved from were we ended last season.

Heh, grow up..

Pretty  myopic take if you are serious. What results should we expect against Man City and Liverpool? And Brighton away?

 "Called out" as if they've been the only lot to point out who owns us.

 so brave Palace fans, well done

Was having a chat with a pal today, he said we’ve only won one in 5, I said aye, so we have, but we’ve only lost one in 5 too and you have to factor in who we’ve played. Brighton and Wolves away are not easy and Man City at home and LFC away could have easily seen heavy defeats given just how good they are or can be. We could do with winning tomorrow mind, but again, it won’t be easy.

Course not, but they didn't "call us out". Every man and his dog wrote about Saudi's appalling human rights record from the point their interest first came to light.

Don't mind Palace tbf. I think they're one of the least offensive London clubs anyway. Liked their team of the late 80's with Wright and Bright up top and think Vieira is doing a very decent job overall, some cracking young players like Eze, Oliseh etc. Tough one, narrow win hopefully.

Had totally forgotten about their little flag tbf. Fair enough tbh although not sure why it’s got a penguin on it. What an absolutely forgettable game that was.

But :yao:anyway. A few canny players but aside from Ian Wright  pretty much everyone associated with them is the absolute worst. Spiv FC.

Didn’t the Homeslice partyboys wing some stuff at the players when someone scored for us a few years back? Cisse maybe?

Threw a coin at Coloccini in the draw there under Carver.

Aye, wasn't thinking of Pardew until just now and let's not forget the halcyon days of Geoff Thomas spooning shots 10 yards wide for England
